Does Color/Tone Changes Occur on Flooring?

Engineered wood and solid wood flooring types contain extractive substances. When these substances come into contact with sunlight and daylight, they can cause a change in the color tone of the wood material. For this reason, there will be a slight tonal difference between the color of the flooring when it is first taken out of the package and its color after use. If you have your flooring sanded and then finished after use, it will return to the color of the first use and will again change tone with continued use.

For this reason, we can say that flooring is a long-lasting and, therefore, sustainable product.
