Huni Parquet Laminate Parquet
Hüni Parquet beautifies your home by choosing the right materials to bring the most beautiful state of nature to your home. Laminated parquets produced from different types of trees such as oak, walnut, fir offer an aesthetic floor design to spaces. Each tree's unique colors and textures offer many surface alternatives in laminated parquets. While a soft-textured tree can be preferred to create a comfortable and aesthetic space, harder wood species should be preferred in places with heavy foot traffic such as stores and offices. In addition, the natural colors and patterns of laminated parquets should be suitable for the concept of the space.
Laminate Flooring Color Options
There is a wide range of colors in laminated parquet. In addition to the most preferred classic colors such as beech and oak, there are also laminated parquet colors produced from exotic trees such as merbau, sapele, iroko and doussie. Red tones, especially merbau, are preferred in classic decorations. Dark colored parquets should be compatible with furniture. In light colored parquets, furniture selection is more flexible.
Features and Advantages of Two-Layer Laminate Flooring
Two-layer laminated parquets are produced by combining natural wood material at right angles and shaping it under heat and pressure. These floorings offer easy installation thanks to the male and female tenons opened on four edges. They are specially designed for adhesive system installation. The lower layer is created by bringing narrow wooden pieces together by leaving gaps, and this ensures that the parquet adheres better to the floor, is more resistant to moisture and flexible. Two-layer laminated parquets can be used with ceramics and add visual movement to wooden floors with their suitability for different flooring patterns such as square and herringbone.
Advantages of Three-Layered Wood Laminate Flooring
Three-layered wooden parquets are produced by combining each layer at an opposite angle and gluing them under pressure and heat. The top layer, which is made of hardwoods that give the parquet its name, is 3.4 mm thick and is suitable for three times of scraping and polishing. The bottom layer is produced from coniferous trees in accordance with the direction of the wood used on the surface and is laminated to prevent the parquet from working. The middle layer provides balance by combining small pieces placed in the exact opposite direction to form a right angle. The top layer offers the natural wood texture that determines the aesthetic appearance of the parquet. This layer is created by cutting down trees that have completed their life in nature and laminating them lengthwise after a special drying process.

Hüni Parquet Maintenance and Parquet Cleaning
Hüni provides a guide to guide users for Parquet Maintenance and Parquet Cleaning. Our Pawed Friends Our floors are manufactured to withstand the running of our pawed friends. If you have a dog at home, we recommend that you place doormats at the entrances of your home to prevent dirt and debris from entering the house. Your pet may naturally tend to hold onto the floor with its nails, and in order to reduce their rapid movements inside the house, you can use a piece of carpet that you can spread on the floor to prevent them from scratching the floor with their nails while holding onto it. If your pet accidentally spills a liquid substance, immediately wipe the spilled substance with a damp cloth and continue with standard cleaning practices. Protecting Under Furniture Furniture protective felts are a simple and inexpensive way to protect your new parquets. You can easily prevent scratches by applying felts to the legs of your furniture such as chairs, tables, sofas, beds, etc. at home, and by using transparent protectors under the chairs in your work areas in your office. Another precaution to prevent your parquets from being scratched is to ensure that your heavy furniture is moved by lifting it instead of sliding it. Relative Humidity and Temperature To properly maintain the performance and health of your floor, it is very important to be aware of the relative humidity in your home. In many regions of Turkey, there are seasonal changes in weather conditions and this can affect your parquet, which is a natural product. After application, it should be ensured that the appropriate climate conditions are constantly kept within limits. This means that the ambient temperature is between 18°C - 22°C and the air humidity is between 45% - 60%. In cases where these conditions are not met, cracks may occur in the parquet boards, capillary fractures may occur, the natural wood layer may separate from the wooden support or the parquet may swell. • For the dimensional durability of the wood and the well-being of the home occupants, the parquet surface temperature should not exceed 24°C in spaces with underfloor heating. At the same time, the parquet surface temperature should not fall below 15°C in spaces with underfloor cooling. Sunlight The color of your parquet floor will mature over time with exposure to sunlight. This will cause its color to change. Therefore, if there is any object that blocks the light (carpet, rug, etc.), it should be changed regularly to keep the color of your floor more uniform. 4 Steps Recommended by Hüni Parquet: 1. Protect: Prevent cold winter air from entering your home by reducing leaks from ventilation. Old windows, recessed lights, and other holes in the ceiling and floor are usually the biggest leaks. The less cold air enters your home from outside, the easier it is to maintain a higher relative humidity value. 2. Monitor: You can buy an inexpensive relative humidity monitor to measure how your home responds to the temperature. This way, you can easily determine when levels are low and your home needs a little more humidity. 3. Protect: Make sure your indoor relative humidity is between 45-60%. 4. Adjust: If you find it difficult to maintain the recommended relative humidity range, you can add a humidifier to your home. Adding a humidifier to your home does more than just help your floor. Proper relative humidity helps protect all the wood in your home, and can also help you stay healthier! Parquet Cleaning Laminated parquets are divided into two types according to their finish surfaces: polished or oiled. Although the cleaning methods are basically the same, the cleaning products used differ. You can contact Hüni Parquet at any time to get information about the cleaning and maintenance equipment you need. The use of solvents, acid, bleach or duct tapes can cause irreparable damage to the parquet. Since the parquet surface is microporous, cleaning it with too much water, using a steam cleaner or similar processes can damage the parquet. Clean your parquets with a well-wrung damp cloth, use only water or a natural cleaning detergent mixed with water. If the floor is dirty after the initial installation of your laminated parquet or after your renovations, we recommend that you clean it with a little soapy water. However, after the initial cleaning, dry methods should be preferred for cleaning to be done day by day. i) Dry Cleaning You need to protect your parquet floor from the abrasive substances accumulated on the parquet surface. Accumulated sand/sediment/mud etc. will cause your parquet to be scratched and damaged. Cleaning the floors daily using dry cleaning methods such as vacuum or soft broom and removing various abrasives will extend the life of your parquet. ii) Wet Cleaning You can wipe your wooden parquet floors with the recommended cleaning material at certain intervals. Dip your mop into the bucket of the cleaning solution you prepared, squeeze it completely and mop the floor in the direction of the wood grain.
